The Background of the Job Creation Institute
Founded in 2011, the Job Creation Institute’s initial work has served as a working laboratory. Believing the job creation process is “America’s Secret Weapon,” the goal was to mitigate many of the common risks found in the job creation process.
Having collectively experienced the rewards as well as the battles and struggles of small business and entrepreneurship, the founders understand that nothing can guarantee success in such ventures. However, taking a disciplined approach to the process will eliminate many of the sources of failure.
By testing concepts and materials developed during a combined history of its principals of more than 150 years of market experience, the JCI Academy was created. Additionally, this process included private research with noted academics to explore the dynamics of the job creation process.
The results of these efforts have produced never-before-seen data and insights into the job creation process in the United States. We see empirically that:
- It is creating jobs that make it possible for the average American to take care of their family today
- It is creating jobs that allows positive expectations for the future.
- It is creating jobs that produce new wealth
- It is creating jobs that allow trillions in taxes to be paid
- It is creating jobs that provide funds for consumer purchasing, and
- It is creating jobs that provides cultural stability and personal satisfaction. We at JCI term this the “Growing the Pie” phenomenon.
Thus we at the Job Creation Institute call for all Americans to be proactively involved in this process that provides the economic might to our nation.
